Some may ask: Why do you call yourself spooky Mick?
I belong to
the famous Magic Circle, their headquarters are situated in London.
I retired from the Fire Service in 1993 and had more time to pursue my interests, and they were travel and Magic. On some occasions I had seen Magicians on television but my real interest had laid dormant for years. When I was a child I had the good fortune to visit the Festival of Britain this was in London in 1951. I remember so well seeing a magician performing amazing magic, and that memory has always been with me.
When I retired I managed to develop a few of my own pieces of Magic and passed the examination to become a member of that famous club. When I performed once in front of club friends one exclaimed, "Well that's spooky Mick"
